FluidLogic is the world's first and only “smart” hydration system that eliminates the need for drivers to think about hydration and focus on the road ahead. The system includes a steering wheel-mounted micro button, with integrated LED, that reminds the driver to hydrate with fluid delivered to the driver's lips via the microphone mounted Aquacom. The Pod, which is the center of the FluidLogic system, delivers a predetermined dose of fluid and is completely programable via the FluidLogic app. Fluid is pumped through the magnetic Maglock Air Coaxial helmet connecter and is stored in the vacuum insulated FluidLogic Containment System.
“With the FluidLogic system installed in the vehicle, all the driver has to do is press a button to drink to the tune of science,” says Rainmaker Solutions Inc. CEO Ed Jaeger. Years of R&D, clinical trials, and testing in the toughest terrain in Baja, meaning the driver can completely delegate their hydration requirements to FluidLogic.
This system is currently used by several teams in Indy Car, NASCAR, Off-Road Racing, sports car racing, and many more. Elite motorsports athletes recognize the advantages of the quick and safe Maglock connections as well as the proven science of proper incremental hydration to remain focused, reduce fatigue, and quick reactions by remaining properly hydrated. “FluidLogic has worked with motorsports specific doctors who have performed many studies on hydration, and determined that athletes performed better when taking short bursts of water more frequently, during intense activity,” says Jaeger. “The FluidLogic system removes the thought process of when to drink, and allows racers to remain focused on their driving, rather than struggling to find a drinking tube.”
Kyle Larson has been using the Maglock Air system for three seasons. |
In addition to the hydration benefits, the FluidLogic system improves the safety and speed of driver changes. It safely releases the driver from the air hose in the case of an emergency extract.
FluidLogic fits all helmet and vehicle types from single-seat open-wheel, to desert pounding machines. Vehicles with forced-air systems utilize the Maglock Coaxial connector to couple their fresh air and hydration in the same magnetic connection. Non-forced air users utilize the Flush 360 helmet connection that incorporates the same Maglock technology.
FluidLogic components have more than five years of testing and development, enduring the most extreme racing conditions from the dust and heat of Baja to the Brickyard at Indianapolis. For more information on the FluidLogic hydration system, visit www.fluidlogic.com.
